I shot a roll of colour the other day for a change, Reala 100 (not the best but not too bad). Shooting colour street is a real challenge, especially in mid day sun. You have to rethink the way you shoot compared with black and white, using colour to arrange compositions etc. I’m going to have a good crack at this summer for some beach scenes i want to shoot, but i reckon black and white still kicks it for city street shooting. Anyway these are all shot on the same day, in the order they were on the negative strip. Im not thrilled about any of them (the opposite really) but i felt i should post a little colour on the page for a change.

Still waiting on all the film from Forster to get back from the lab, shot 4 rolls of colour, some Fuji Reala and some Kodak NC. The fm3a came very close to being a hunk of metal to. On sunday arvo we were collecting pippies on the beach (little clam like things that are in the sand) you dig your feet in the sand as the waves washes back out and they kinda just pop up. Anyway the swell was big and there were some mean shorey’s and out of no where i got slammed, i had my camera slung over my back and i got drenched on the opposite side , i did get a bit of saltwater on the camera and on the lens but its all working fine. If it was on the other side however…
Anyway activity in this blog will be little for the next week or so as Lanie and Jake are both leaving this week (urgh) so im either going to be spending time with them or drowning my sorrows. But once i get my head back together i have a ton of film to scan and also to develop (as even though this blog isn’t all that active, I’m still always shooting)
All i can say is Pez if you’re reading this please look after my little Lanie! I hope you two can get together for New Years or something
