My good mate Chrisso turned 30 way back at the end of August, right before a certain someone came home and then that certain someone left etc etc blah blah.
So i actually had these scanned and developed a while ago, jsut been lazy in getting them on here. The black and white stuff is trix, some pushed two stops, most with a red filter on. The colour is superia200 slide film i think. I also shot a roll of fuji800z but the lab crossed processed it and it was pretty much destroyed (i actually through it in the bin).
Was a fun arvo/night, my mind was much more at ease back when i was shooting these photos than it has been the last couple of months! I remember when i had my camera out with me that night that it felt more like a burden than anything else. Then once i looked at the frames i was happy i had it on me.
The birthday boy is the one cracking up, i remember that was a funny joke i think Ben Beau had said.
This is the frame of the lot for me, i love my flat mate Mel Tans expression and the other camera covering Petals face. One of those frames where you click the shutter and go, i got that, timing was bang on.
Adam is one photogenic motherfucker.

Im now working full time at the Sydney Morning Herald as the photographic assistant, or as i like to put it, the photo bitch. It is a good change from making coffee and cocktails, 6 years of that shit was enough for now, that said i can see myself working in the hospitality industry again at some point.
Have shot a couple more rolls of colour street stuff in my local area, something im going to work on over summer. And i also have 9 rolls of undeveloped trix from a very country race day about 6 and half hours west of where i live so stay tuned.
Also if anyone has had any success developing with Rodinal i’d love to hear some stories/advice.
